Why I love card making

Cards are becoming a lost art. We no longer send out hundreds of cards at Christmas or send out cards for birthdays, anniversarys etc. It is so easy to just send a quick email or post on facebook but we loose the personal touch when we do that.

No one displays an email on the mantle
No one shows off a tweet on the refrigerator
No one saves a facebook post as a keepsake.

Bringing a smile to someone’s face by presenting them with a personal card, makes them feel special. There is a little anticipation as they open the card and when they see a special card made just for them, they smile.

We all need to know that someone cares and we are not just a number or face in the crowd.

Bring a smile to someone’s face, send them a card
