New Card Class

Hi everyone,

Would like to meet new people and explore your creativity?  I host monthly classes to “play”. While we sit around the table socializing I will show you how to make three unique cards which you will take with you when you leave.  No experience is required, I will have everything prepped and ready to go before you arrive.  Each class I will demonstrate a new technique with different cards so there will never be any repeats.

My next class has been scheduled for Thursday, January 10th.  Class size is limited to 6 people. Cost is just $20.00 which covers my supplies.  Any orders placed of $50.00 or more, I will waive the class cost.

Birthday Card

So who doesn’t love these cute little panda bears?   I made this birthday card using the “Party Pandas” stamp set which includes three panda stamps with they very own expressions.  In this example I only used two of the bears.

First I embossed the front of the card for texture then stamped the panda’s on a separate piece of card stock before adhering them to the front of the card.  I then stamped the “Happy Birthday” sentiment on separate card stock.  I added a strip of Washi tape to the card for a little added colour before adhering the sentiment on top.  The envelope was also stamped with a panda bear… just because he is so cute and makes the envelope more interesting.

Birthday Card

This is a really cute birthday card I made for a friend of mine.  I liked it so much I made two.  This card is using the “You’ve got Style” stamp set which includes the two wonderful lady images.  It’s a fun card to make.

After stamping the cardstock with the lady and her cat, I used my blender markers to colour them and bring them to life.  The sentiment whis is also part of this stamp set was then stamped and adhered to matching card stock.

Dandelion wishes

I created this card as a get well card using the Dandelion Wishes stamp set.  It was a very simple card to make but I am really pleased with the result.  I made three cards with this technique, one landscape and two portrait.

I stamped the background in Pool Party using the baby wipe technique which means I used a baby wipe which I dabbed onto the ink pad, then onto the card stock for the background.  I then stamped the image over that.

I was pretty pleased with the result.  The sentiment was then stamped on the  front to finish it off.
