Sadly, I lost my father a few years ago so cannot give him this card. Hardly a day goes by that I don’t think of him. That doesn’t mean I can’t make a card, right? It makes me feel better.
Instructions to make this card are shown below;
Black Cardstock
– cut 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 (card base)
– cut 1 1/4 x 5 1/2 (Sentiment mat)
Woods Textures designer series paper
– cut 1 1/2 x 3/4 (3 panels)
– cut 1 x 5 1/2″ (sentiment)
Crumb Cake card stock
– cut at 4 x 5 1/4 (inside the card)
After folding the black card stock and using a bone folder to crease the card, I adhered the Wood Texture panels evenly across the front of the card using snail adhesive.
I stamped “Happy Father’s Day” (non SU product) onto the sentiment piece and adhered to the matting using snail adhesive.
Using dimensional’s, I added the sentiment to the front of the card then added a few sequins to the front for a little bling.
I used the snail adhesive to adhere the crumb cake card stock to the inside of the card but left it blank.
