A simple card, suitable for beginners using the You Are Beautiful stamp set. I used the retired Needlepoint Nook Designer Series Paper in an effort to use up what I have before buying more. Stampin’Up has some beautiful DSP’s in the new annual catalog.

To make this card
Cut paper as follows;
Seaside Spray – 4 1/4 x 11″
Whisper white – 2 x 5 1/2″
DSP – 1 3/4 x 5 1/2″
Scrap piece of DSP
Die cuts
whisper white – scalloped
Seaside spray – oval
Fold card stock in half and burnish
glue DSP to white rectangle
Glue to front of card leaving about 1/2″ from the left side
Stamp figure on a scrap piece of DSP and again on the seaside spray oval, preciously cut out.
fussy cut the dress from the scrap DSP and adhere to the oval, overlapping the dress so the dress is now patterned. Do the same for the hat.
Glue the seaside spray over to the scalloped oval and then adhere to the front of the card using mini dimensionals
