A simple card for any occasion

This is a cute card for any occasion. I left the inside blank until I am ready to use it.

Cut paper as follows;
Purple Posy – card base. 11 x 4 1/4″
Whisper White – 4 x 5 1/4″ (x2)
Silver Foil – 1/4 x 5 1/2″
Purple Posy – scrap – punch out butterflies
Whisper White – scrap – sentiment
Scrap paper – 6 x 4″

Fold card base in half and burnish edge, set aside.
Align scrap paper approximately two inches from the left edge of the whisper white card stock to protect that side of the card. Make sure the paper is straight. Using the stamp set and the ink pad, randomly stamp images on the 2″ of card stock that is not covered. Adhere the silver strip of paper between the stamped images and the blank part of the card stock. This gives a nice separation between the two. Adhere to the front of the card using the snail adhesive.

Stamp sentiment on the white cardstock and die cut using the Free as a Bird hexagon die.
Do the same with a slightly larger die cut for the foil background. Adhere the white sentiment to the front of the foil then using mini dimensionals add to the front of the card.
Tie a bow and glue to the top of the sentiment or just below it on the top left edge.
Punch out the two butterflies and glue to the front of the card.

Adhere the second piece of cardstock to the inside of the card. At this time, I left the inside of the card blank until I need it so I can add a sentiment later.

If desired,
Using the second whisper white card stock, stamp a sentiment in the centre and then using the same stamp from the front of the card, stamp a bit of design in the corner or however you wish.
Adhere to the inside of the card and you have a beautiful card for any occasion.
