Using the Jar of Flowers different ways

While I am very excited to see and use all the new products from the new Jan – Jun 2021 mini catalogue, but I also love using the the products I already have. Today I pulled out the Jar of Flowers Stamp and Punch bundle from the Jun 3 2020-May 3, 2021 Annual Catalogue. I made up a couple of cards and a project that can be used in your home to show the versatility of this set. Hmmm… the sachet also looks like a book mark so I may have to make a few of those as well.

I used the Strong and Beautiful stamp set for the sentiments on the Cinnamon Cider coloured card and the I miss you was from another set. Sadly I cannot remember which one. I have so many. If you would like to see more products, please visit my online store by clicking here.

To create the lavender sachets, I stamped the image on a piece of whisper white card stock (2″ x 5 1/2″). I then coloured the flowers with blender pens. Taking a second piece of DSP of the same size, I placed them together and punched out the mason jar using the Mason Jar Punch. I then punched the top to create a cute topper using the Fancy Tag Topper so a ribbon can be used to hang it up. I applied the Mason Jar Shaker Dome to the underside of the whisper white card stock, filled it with lavender and glued a piece of coffee filter over it. This allows the lavender smell to filter out. I then adhered the DSP to the back, lining up the cut out to the front. It makes a lovely sachet to hang in your closet or car. You could also place it in a drawer or a pair of shoes for some added freshness.

Now looking forward, I have also created these beautiful cards from the new catalogue coming out in January. I think they make adorable cards to welcome a new baby to a the family. The stamp set “Treasures of Life” is fast becoming one of my favourites for both new babies and grandparents.

I love the perks of being a demonstrator. Getting to see and order the new products a whole month before they become available to the general public is fabulous, plus I can purchase them as a discount. All demonstrators enjoy an 20% or more discount, whether you craft as a hobby or have a home business. I am still my best customer because I just love all the various products Stampin’ Up! has. What about you? Would you like to become a demonstrator and save on your crafting supplies? Send me an email at sjbeale@canadianstamper.com we can talk about it.
