Tips and Techniques – Adhesives

Hi everyone, as part of my plan to get more organized in 2021, I will be posting regularly to help you with your crafting and to provide new techniques and ideas. Each Tuesday I will post tips which I have discovered and want to share with you. I hope you will find them helpful. I welcome any questions and suggestions, so if you are looking for help with something in particular, please contact me. Chances are that if you are wondering about something, than someone else is too. I want to help!

Today’s tip talks about all the various types of adhesives. There are so many types of adhesives available, it can get confusing. Depending on what you are working on, certain adhesives work better than others and there is nothing worse than your hard work not “sticking” properly after you are done. Believe me when I say, I am speaking from practical experience through trial and error (or two…)

The chart below is a great reference to help you decide, which adhesive will work best. As you can see in the chart, it’s best to have a selection on hand to maximize your crafting experience.

The new mini Catalogue (Jan – Jun 2021) and Sale-a-bration starts today, Jan 5th. I wanted to share another tip with you as you browse through the new catalogue. You can also visit my online store here to see all the new products, if that is easier for you. Remember, with every qualified purchase of $60 or $120 you will be able to select a FREE product from the sale-a-bration brochure.

I know we first look at the pictures of all the beautiful stamps and card designs but there are some tips that pop up all through the catalogues and they are well worth paying attention to;

Purchase a bundle and save 10% i.e. stamp/die bundle or a stamp/punch bundle.

Dies will fit in the new mini Cut & Embossing machine (not all do so pay attention).

Distinktive TM stamps create a realistic depth and intensity.

Each tip will suggest ways to improve on your card designs or techniques.

I hope you enjoyed these tips. Please comment and let me know if you find this post helpful. Also, please like and follow my blog so you won’t miss out on future posts,

As always, if you have any questions please contact me and I will respond back as soon as possible.
