So today I would like to share a few of those cards I’ve made recently with both old and new stamps

My husband recently asked me to make a couple of golf themed cards. The reason being, his buddies forgot to add him in, when booking a tee time (he was able to add himself later). Anyways, they give each other the gears all the time when golfing so he wanted two cards so he can add his own “dig” to the card before handing them out. It’s all in good fun and these cards will do the trick.

I used the retired Clubhouse Golf die set for the silhouettes and the coordinating DSP. I also used the Ornate Thanks Stamp set for the sentiment “So Grateful” inside and the front sentiment is from the new Arctic Bears Stamp set coming out in the new Mini Catalogue. They worked perfectly together.

These cute penguins are also from the new mini catalogue along with the Evergreen Forest embossing folder from the Annual Catalogue. It’s a simple card and I look forward to making other designs because they are just so darn cute!

Although you may not see the embossing in the picture, it makes a really nice background. I think next time I’ll have to sponge a little colour over the embossing to bring out the design a little bit more.

This is another example of using new and older stamps.

For this card I used the Arctic Bears stamp set from the new mini catalogue for the rugged shoreline. It just called for me to add the lighthouse from the Sailing Home stamp set in the Annual catalogue.

After all, lighthouses are there to warn sailers about rugged shorelines, right? A little sponging and masking and the card is complete.

Speaking of the Arctic Bears, how cute is this card?

I am loving these polar bears and decided not to add any colour with just a little highlighting to add some depth and seriously how cute is that little bear cub?

This set also includes many other stamps and dies and I cannot wait to make more cards using the more icy components.
