With so many new products being released as Online Exclusives, I thought I would share with you a few cards I have made using the Botanical Layers Stamp set.
When I first saw this stamp set I was immediately drawn to the plant and leaf images. I could imagine creating all sorts of cards using these images. This stamp set includes 10 stamps and three of those are lovely sentiments to add to your cards or scrapbook projects.
Currently this stamp set is already out of stock due to its popularity, but there should be more available the week of March 18th.
This set of cards was made by masking a circle and sponging around it to create the moon and add some colouring to the front of the card. I then stamped the images from the Botanical Layers stamp set in Pretty Peacock. The sentiment was also stamped so it overlaps the moon. I find looking at these cards very soothing. The design could also be used as a sympathy card.
Now for these two cards, I brought in a little colour. The masking of the moon is basically the same as before. However, I used two of the other images to create this design. I wanted to create one portrait card and one landscape card using the two colours Gorgeous Grape and Lost Lagoon. My sentiments were from the Go To Greetings stamp set.
Seriously, how cute is this stamp set? This is also an Online Exclusive.
This set includes a five adorable pets, along with a few pet accessories.
Although I didn’t even notice this until later but this set is a reversible stamp set. You can stamp one side of the image in a lighter colour and the other side in a darker, complementary colour. Very Cool!
These two cards were so fun to make. For the Dog card I die cut out the WOOF on some foam so the letters would stand out. For the Cat card, I die cut the MEOW and left the white background as is. I stamped my pets on white and coloured them with blender pens. (as I said, didn’t realize it has a reverse stamp at the time) the fussy cut them out. I also stamped the card base with the pet accessories for added interest.
2022-2024 In Color’s are retiring soon
Every two years Stampin’ Up! comes out with 5 new In Colors (as a Canadian, I so want to add the “U”) and I am very excited to see what they will be. However, along with the good comes the bad. Sadly, these lovely colours below will be retiring at the end of April. This includes EVERYTHING associated with these colours.
Ink Pads, Ink pad Refills, Card Stock, Paper Packs, Ribbons & Embellishments
Now is a wonderful time to stock up on before they are retired for good. They are very popular and I am already seeing some items showing low inventory. When they are gone, they will not restock, so don’t delay if you want to stock up!
