About me

Hello and welcome!

My name is Susan Beale and I am an Independent Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator.

It is so satisfying to create something and say “I made that!

A little about me…

I am very happily married to a wonderful man and we have both a son and a daughter, two beautiful granddaughters and just recently I became a great grandmother to another beautiful girl.

I live in the Suburbs of Ottawa, Ontario, in Canada. I worked for 30 years in customer service, within the Telecommunication industry before taking an early retirement package. Although I miss meeting up with my customers, I was ready to try something new.

My husband and I love travelling when we can, but we also love cruising. We actually got married on a Mediterranean cruise in 2003, which was our all-time favourite trip. Other trips include multiple Caribbean cruises, cruising through the Panama Canal, climbing the Great Wall of China, cruising around South America and driving all over the North island of New Zealand just to name a few.

When we are not travelling we both love to golf and I have been in a ladies golf league for almost 10 years now. I love getting together with the ladies for a round of golf, followed by socializing afterwards over a meal.

My Stampin’ Background…

After retiring, I was looking around for an outlet to feed my soul. My sister-in-law introduced me to the world of Stampin’ Up! and I have been hooked every since. I was amazed at her creations and loved all the possibilities, I could see in the catalogues. That did it for me and I signed up as a demonstrator, mainly because I wanted to get my hands on all the beautiful products at a 20% discount.  Who doesn’t want to save money right?

Before I signed up, I hadn’t made a single card so I was a true beginner. Like learning any new craft, it took some time to learn, and I continue to challenge myself with creating new projects every day.

I love creating so much that in 2018, I began to build up a business so I could share what I love to do, with others.  The best part of being a Stampin’ Up demonstrator is introducing this craft to people who say they aren’t creative and showing them that everyone has creativity within…

I also love all the opportunities that Stampin’ Up! has given me. Attending both virtual and in-person events hosted by Stampin’ Up! have allowed me to meet up with fellow crafters from near and far, plus I am able to earn money to help support my family in a flexible way that suits my lifestyle. Can it get any better?

My commitment to you…

I truly believe that you get back what you give out and I pride myself on working hard to achieve happy customers across Canada.

With each order you place in my online store I will mail you a thank you card that uses new products along with a little surprise. There are also monthly draws with new products and everyone who places an order with me during the month, qualifies.

Before a new catalogue is released, I mail out copies to all my customers who have placed an order with me in the last six months. I also have extras on hand for anyone who requests a copy. I host a “Launch Party” each year to introduce the new products and everyone gets a goodie bag with samples to take home.

I blog regularly to showcase products, sales and specials Stampin’ Up! offers, as well as projects I have made to demonstrate all the possibilities crafting can be. If you would like to follow my blog so you don’t miss out, just click on the button on the right and you will be notified by email, whenever I post. If you wish to be added to my monthly newsletter, just contact me. You can also find me on social media platforms under the name Canadian Stamper.

My team of “Canadian Stampers” and I get together regularly to create together, through in-person classes, Zoom Technique meetings and Paper Pumpkin classes. It’s a wonderful way for me to showcase and demonstrate how to use the various tools of the trade and showing different techniques to make some amazing cards. There is such a variety that I am constantly learning and sharing what I learn with others. If you live in Canada and do not have a demonstrator, I would love to have you become one of my customers or a member of my team and we can create beautiful together.

If you have any questions, please contact me and I will be very happy to help.
