It’s been so hot outside this past week that I decided to make a card featuring the Seaside Wishes bundle. This lovely bundle includes the stamp set which includes 12 different stamps with lovely sentiments and sand dollar images. The embossing folder makes a lovely textured background but it also works with the largest of the 8 dies which is also included. As you can see in the picture below, it perfectly cuts out the three different sized sand dollars.
I have see a lot of seaside cards made with this bundle with very beach type colours so I decided to make a card that veers off the traditional beach colours and make something different.
For these cards, I used Fresh Freesia as my base. I embossed the front in Basic White with the embossing folder and matted it in black. I love all the detail the embossing folder provides. I then die cut the various images in both black and Fresh Freesia. I stamped around the card with one of the smaller stamps to add a little additional detail. For my greeting, I stamped and heat embossed the greetings on Black card stock. After adding a little bling, it was done. As you can see I made both a landscape card and a Portrait card using the same techniques.
