I find the Hearts and Hugs stamp and die bundle (#163667) is super cute and it includes some adorable animals and some lovely sayings as well. Of course you can buy the stamp set separately but with the bundle it allows you to cut out the animals, hearts flowers and more.
I first saw this card on Pinterest and though it was so cute, I had to CASE (copy and share everything) it. I want to give credit for the design to Marelle Taylor from Australia. Her website is called The Ink Spot if you would like to check it out.
So for my card, I used a white card base and some scrap paper to stamp the animals. I coloured them with Smokey Slate Stampin blends and added a little Petal Pink for the nose and ears. The matting was Petunia Pink with a Basic White card front. I added two 1 1/2″ x 1 1/2″ squares of the 2024-2025 In Color designer series paper to the card front, then popped up my die cut animals on top with dimensionals. I then stamped a few Hearts on the front and added some Adhesive backed sequins to the front for a little added bling. My sentiments was stamped on a strip of Basic white and popped up with dimensionals as well. For the inside I stamped the hearts and my sentiment as shown below.
This card was so fun and easy to make, I decided to make this card for my monthly card swap card and sent them out. I love swapping cards because it’s a great way to share card ideas.
