Today I want to share with you this Center Panel card I made recently. I used the 2024-2025 In color Summer Splash as my card base and the lovely Unbounded Beauty Designer Series paper on the card front. I die cut the butterflies from the Sketched Butterfly bundle and used the stamps from the same set for my sentiments.
To make this card
- I started with a card base of 4 1/4″ x 11″ and scored it at 5 1/2″ on the 11″ side. I then cut one side at 1 1/2″ and moved my base over to the 2 1/2″ mark and cut it again. These two pieces make up the bottom and middle pieces of the card. I then folded and burnished my card base
- Once I matted the designer series paper to the two cut pieces, I added another piece to the top part of the card.
- I lined up the bottom piece so it’s lined up with the bottom of the card, then positioned the middle piece in the centre of the top and bottom pieces. I then glued them together.
- I added a piece of Basic white to the front and stamped my greeting.
- For the inside, I stamped my sentiment so it is hidden behind the flap so you don’t see it when the card is closed.
- I then added the die cut butterflies to the front so it fits around the stamped sentiment.
