Hello my crafting friends. Today I would like to show you how I used the Changing Leaves bundle to make up four cards using an 8 1/2″ x 11″ piece of Basic White card stock and the lovely Changing Leaves stamp set.
This lovely bundle (Item 164139) includes the stamp set (8 stamps), the dies (8 dies) and the gorgeous hybrid embossing folder. I love the embossing folder because you can emboss a background for your card but you can also add the large three leave die to the embossing folder (it snaps right in) and when you run it through the Cutting and Embossing machine, you will have three die-cut leaves with embossed accents! How cool is that?
This bundle is so popular it is currently all sold out and unvailable to purchase. However, more inventory is coming and will be available on Sept 2, 2024.
So today, I am making a One Sheet Wonder using this set and three different coloured ink pads. Although these cards do not have a fall theme, I can see myself making this again, using more traditional fall colours. I first started by stamping the largest leaf in Fresh Freesia down the middle, both horizontally and vertically, to create a plus sign (sort of). I then used Petunia Pop and stamped around and over the larger leaves. I also stamped off a couple of times for a more faded look. Lastly, I stamped the maple leaf in Gorgeous Grape at full strength, filling in any gaps. As you can see below it looks a little messy by the time you are done. I also took care not to stamp the corners, so I could stamp greetings when I was done.
Once I was done, I took my paper and cut it in half at 4 1/4″ on the 11″ side, then cut each piece in half at 5 1/2″. I then trimmed each piece down to 3 3/4″ x 5″ and mounted them onto a 4″ x 5 1/4″ piece of Petunia Pop card stock before adhering them to my basic white card bases. After stamping my greetings in each corner of the cards, using sentiments from the Changing Leaves stamp set, I added three of the 2024-2026 In Colour shimmer gems to the front.
I love how these bright and colourful cards turned out. Yes it’s not traditional colours but they are guaranteed to brighten up someone’s day.

I also wanted to share another card I made using the embossing folder and dies. For this card, I used Pretty Peacock as my card base. I embossed the Basic White card front with the embossing folder and I love how you can see all the details of the leaves. Although I didn’t use the large die for this card, I did use the smaller leaves and branches that you see on the card front. Both the dies and the branches are also part of this bundle. I die cut the sentiment piece and sponged around it for a little added colour then stamped my greeting. I glued the leaves and branches to the back and popped it up with dimmensional’s. To finish it off I and added a few adhesive backed pearls for a little bling.
For the inside I stamped the maple leaf and my greeting in Pretty Peacock.
