Hello my crafting friends. Today I would like to show you a card I made for a friend who is celebrating their 25th wedding anniversary.
Given that it’s their 25th, I had to incorporate silver onto the card.
This lovely card was made using a Basic White base. The card front was embossed with the Exposed Brick embossing folder. I also used the Magnolia Mood stamp and die bundle for the front. For the background I die cut the detailed floral image in white then die cut out a few leaves in silver for contrast. I also used the retired alphabet dies to cut out the 25 in silver as well
I first stamped the floral image in Tuxedo Memento ink to give it some detail, that stamped again in Versamark ink. After heat embossing in silver, I was pleased to see how it outlined the floral image in silver, giving it a nice detail to the flower image. Sadly my picture doesn’t do it justice but trust me it is gorgeous. I also stamped the sentiment and heat embossed it in silver then fussy cut around it.
After putting it all together, I added a bit of bling with some retired silver pearls. The envelope was stamped in the front and the back flap with the smaller floral image
