Today, I would like to show you some simple cards I made using the Festive Words stamp set.
This cute stamp set (Item # 164230) includes four images suitable for Christmas Cards.
I was drawn to the Noel Hat right away, it is just adorable. but all four images make for lovely cards.
For my first card, I used the Take a Bow (6″ x 6″) designer series paper and used that as my matt for the stamped image. The sentiment on the front is from the Sentimental Wishes stamp set. I love the fonts of that set and also includes some lovely stamped images.
For my next card, I used the same Take a Bow designer series paper for the card front. This paper comes in a pack of 48 sheets of patterned paper: 12 each of 4 double-sided designs so it is very versatile. My Gift to You stamp was used for the front.
My next card I made, used the Fa La La stamp. For this card I used a piece of the Sentimental Christmas designer series paper on the card front. The sentiment I used is from the Joyful Saying ephemera pack which includes 8 sheets of Christmas greetings, 2 sheets each of 4 designs.
For my last card, I used the Love, peace & joy stamp. This card was stamped in Shaded Spruce and I embossed the front with the Exposed Brick 3D embossing folder for a little added texture. The card is also matted in the coordinated Shaded Spruce card stock. The ribbon is in the same colour and I love how they all work so well together.
