After retiring from working 30 years in a high stress job, I was looking for an outlet to feed my soul. It had taken a back seat over the years and I wanted to bring it back while finding something that was personally satisfying to me.
I discovered the world of Stampin’ Up! and I was hooked on paper crafting and to this day it is my ONLY craft. I signed up as a Stampin’ Up! demonstrator, mainly because I wanted to get my hands on all the beautiful products i was already buying, at a discount.
In July of 2018, I started my business so that I could share my passion with others and I haven’t looked back. My Canadian Stamper Blog and business grew from there. I cannot begin to tell you how satisfying it made feel me to say “I made that” and I wanted to share that feeling with others. Teaching people how to take stamps, ink, papers and embellishments and create that perfect card, or gift for a special occasion is so much fun, especially for people who say that aren’t creative. When they make something that they didn’t think they could and you see their smile when it is completed? There is nothing better!
I am living my dream! I have a successful, home-based business that introduces me to so many wonderful people. I have traveled to Stampin’ Up! sponsored events, I have been rewarded (when I met the requirements) with products and recognition. The best part is I can work on my own schedule, putting in as much or as little time as needed. I love that!
