It happens, life gets busy and we forget sometimes. Well today I want to show you a cute card that might make that special someone forgive you.
For this card, I made my card base from the lovely Balmy Blue card stock. I framed my basic white piece of card stock with a some Granny Green card stock. My flowers were stamped first with Tuxedo Moment ink for the outline and then filled in the floral image with another stamp using Daffodil delight. So easy, I love how the stamps line up perfectly. I then die cut the images and framed them in white using another of the dies. The greenery was also cut out using one of the dies.
I then stamped my greeting on the basic white and attached the florals. The Country Gingham at the bottom brings a little added interest don’t you think? For the inside I stamped the birthday sentiment from the same stamp set. The (a little-bit-late) sentiment is from the Happiest of Birthdays stamp set which has been retired. I just thought it added a cuteness to the card. To dress it up, I also stamped the small floral images to the inside. I have to say I wouldn’t normally put this blue and green together, but the colours are so bright and cheerful together, I think it works. Who Knew!
This card features one of the new stamps bundles that will be available on May 2, 2023. The Fresh as a Daisy stamp set features 11 floral stamp images and 4 sentiments for your card. As part of this bundle you can also receive the Cheerful Daisies dies. There are also 14 dies that coordinate beautifully with the stamp set. The dies includes floral Dies, a stem for your flower, and some lovely greenery to go with your daisy’s.
Now both the stamp set and the dies can be purchased separately after May 2nd, but by purchasing the two as a bundle, you will automatically save 10% and who doesn’t love to save a few bucks? Sadly, you will need to wait for that! All other products used, are shown below.
