Do you like to create cards quickly and easily without a lot of fuss? Well today, I want to you show you this method so you can make 5 cards at the same time, using 2 sheets of Designer Series paper. This is a great way to get a head start on Christmas card making as well.

Place your two pieces of Designer Series paper together, making sure any directional designs are vertical and place in your paper trimmer.  Cut your designer series paper as per the template below.

First cut vertically at the 2” mark

Turn your 2” x 6” to the long side and cut at 3 ¼”

You will now have two pieces each at 2” x 3 ¼” and 2” x 2 ¾”

Now take the 4” x 6” pieces and turn to the long side and cut a 4” and then at 1 ½”

You will now have 2 pieces each of 4” x 4”, 4” x 1 ½” and 4” x ½”

To make the diagonal cut, place the 4” x 4” pieces in your paper trimmer and angle the paper so you are cutting diagonally approximately ¾” from the top of the right side to approx. ¾” from the bottom of the left side. It doesn’t have to be exact but knowing the measurements helps.

Your Paper should now look like this.

Lay out  the various pieces on your basic white card pieces as shown to create your five card fronts.  As you can see below, I used both sides of the designer series paper.  Once you are happy with the layouts, go ahead and glue them to the card front, then adhere to the card bases.

At this point, It doesn’t look like much just yet but once you are done, they will look great.

To complete my cards, I first stamped and die cut 5 large flowers, 5 small flowers as well as leaves from the Irresistible Blooms Bundle.

I then went ahead and cut out several leaves in White card stock to add a little extra interest to the card front.  My greetings were stamped  directly onto the card fronts using the matching Pretty Peacock ink pad.  Then to finish it all off, I added some pearls to each card front  for some added bling. Below are my finished cards.
