One Sheet Wonder Technique using the Enduring Beauty Stamp set

Hello my crafting friends.

Today I wanted to show you how to use the Enduring Beauty stamp set as a one sheet wonder. This will allow you to make 4 cards from a sheet of stamped images on a 8 1/2″ x 11″ piece of card stock. I am a huge fan of this stamp set so decided to give it a try. So what I did was stamp the image approximately in the middle of the sheet. I then stamped another image on some copy paper to use as a mask. After cutting out the copy paper image, I placed it over the stamped image then stamped the image again going out towards the side and then again, going down the middle of the page. (see pictures below). I also stamped around the floral images with some background dots for some added interest. I did spend some time colouring the leaves and outlining the florals by hand.  It  was quite relaxing and I doubt it took more than an hour in total. I have to say, I really like, how the petals are just outlined and not coloured in full. I used Fresh Freesia for the flowers and Granny Apple Green for the leaves. I love the contrast of the floral outline and the fully coloured leaves.  I think it gives it a unique look.

Optional: While this bundle comes with 5 masks to colour the images, I chose to manually do the colouring with my blender pens instead. You could use the masks to colour the flowers and leaves but it could be a bit tricky to do it.

To create the cards, I first cut the paper down the middle on both the long and short sides. I stamped my greeting in each of the white spaces. I did trim down each piece to create my cards. The stamped image is 3 3/4″ x 5″ and the black mat of 4″ x 5 1/4″. After adhered the two together, I added it to a basic white card base.

Now as I type this, I am looking at the pictures below and notice that I didn’t colour the floral centres. I had intended to do that, but not I have mixed feelings.   I think it looks pretty good as it but….. I will have to decide whether to go back and colour the centres or just leave them be. What do you think? Colour or not?
