I love card kits because there are so many possibilities to make alternative cards using the kit. I recently ordered the Expressions in Kindness kit (item # 163495) and wanted to share what I have created.
This card kit includes everything you need to make 8 cards (4 each of 2 different designs) The cards of lovely and they include gorgeous printed envelopes too!
So the first thing I did, was to make up one card from each design as per the easy to follow directions. However, I didn’t want all my cards to be the same, so then I got to work creating alternative card designs using the remaining components. I cut the card bases in half because even the back of the floral cards have a lovely pattern. I also cut up the envelopes because the front and back of the envelopes are also patterned. I used Blackberry Bliss, Basic White and Lost Lagoon card stock to create additional card bases and had to improvise with additional greetings.
Once I got started it was fun using all the components to create a total of 18 cards. Wth everything in front of me, crafting was easy. I more than doubled the cards I purchased. Below are all the cards I created using just the one kit. The best part is I still have the ink spot, the stamp set and the acrylic block which I can use over and over again on other projects.
I cannot wait to share all these cards at my upcoming card kit class.
