Today, I wanted to show you how to make this gorgeous card from the Leaves of Holly Bundle. This bundle works perfectly with the coordinating Boughs of Holly designer series paper.
I love how the stamp set includes so many greetings and the coordinating dies cut out the leaves perfectly.
The bottom die cut for the greeting includes both a place to stamp your greeting but also has leaves popping up on the side to add some added pizazz.
To Make this card.
My card base was made up of Basic white card stock and then I added a mat of Real Red to my card front. I then added the lovely designer series paper to the front. I love how bright and colourful it is. I also added a strip of another piece of designer series paper across the front just for some added interest. I then cut out the greeting piece in Basic White. I have to say I love the small border this dies creates when it is cut out. It just adds a little extra pizazz. I then cut out one large leaf in basic white and the smaller greeting piece in the basic white as well. After adhering down the larger greeting piece, I then glues the large leaf just off to the side. After stamping my greeting, I flipped it over and adhered some of the lovely Red Ribbon to the back then popped it up with dimensional’s.
When you complete a card, you thinks it’s done right?
Well a day or so after completing my card, I decided to go back and add a small white twine bow to the bottom of the leaves just to tie the leaves together visually. I also added a couple of red gems around the card for a little extra sparkle.

- Basic White Card Base – 8 1/2 x 5 1/2″
- Scored at 4 1/4″ to fold in half
- Real Red – 4″ x 5 1/4″

- 3 3/4″ x 5″ Front
